Executive MBA
Class 2004-2005

One of the most important and fortunate decisions in my personal life was to achieve this goal – to become a GGSB MBA. The perfect arrangement was the fact that EFEB was able to offer me and my distinguished colleagues this opportunity of studying to the highest standards in the country and the business environment where me personally would like to develop as an individual, but especially now as an MBA or a becoming executive manager.

We created a great relationship since the very beginning by becoming a strong team who actively collaborated in order to absorb the entire information from our professors and from each other, because every one brought his/her own experience, which most of the times created “brainstorms” ad litteram while debating a case study. Most of the times we discovered several solutions for a certain case, even if we considered at that time that our group’s explication was by far the best. The team spirit was not influenced by ending our classes, on the contrary we continue to find solutions in the same MBA formulas on our real business problems, and the most important thing is that we have important “players” in our teams from different intakes, sometimes solutions coming from our outstanding professors (locals or guests).

This is the purpose of being a GGSB Executive MBA – while achieving one of the highest education, investing in you not only for operating in the business environment, but becoming a different personality, you have the opportunity to become a part from a new bright family, who will support your activity even if going out for a beer… and talking business, of course.

If you want to look into the future instead of looking into the past you got to get a world class education. And here it is, in Moldova, right next to your place!

How about a fresh sip of really useful and extremely practical information that you can get with MBA from professors that not only teach you the latest and the best theoretical underpinnings, but are also part-time working in the industry. So believe me - they know what they are talking about. And the study process is so interactive - it's more like a game with a super-coach that changes the way you are thinking in the good sense of it.

I talked to a lot of GGSB MBA graduates and I didn't meet anyone saying it was not worth it to take the program. 100% customer satisfaction! How about this?

So, if you want to become more marketable, mature and self-confident - go for it, graduate from GGSB MBA and tell me afterwards how it was.

In the national moldovan area of foreign high education, it is obvious there are not so many options to choose, but even in the minimal competition on the market, our academy is far more professional and adequate to the modern education. It gives the opportunity to become familiar to the principles of doing correct and professional business and euro pen vision of the business development in future.

The professors' staff is brilliant, always cooperative and willing to share their experience and knowledge, and apart of that they are really strong and unique personalities and live examples of how to build our own lives.

This is a great step you are going to take. Yes, it will be difficult, lots of responsibility and lots of paper work, study cases and thorough analysis. Lots of time and efforts. But it's worth it. Risk is a big thing. If you take it you will be rewarded anyway. And your personal development will be one step higher. Just give yourself the respect you deserve.

YOU WILL BE A MASTER. MASTER OF YOUR OWN LIFE. And of course of the Business Administration. With an European degree.

The continued process of economy's sophistication requires new ideas and capabilities to be developed, which will generate new skills, better and more innovative products and will improve our professionalism.

Being aware of necessity to broaden my knowledge, tailoring it to international environment, I took the chance to do the MBA, which I knew will prepare me to meet all requirements of my work. Since the beginning, I've realized that now I have access to a qualitative and complete studies.

This program offers an effective approach to the consequences of the current market changes, in order to improve our understanding of how services should be provided. The analyze of specific case studies provides optimal behavior in economic decision-making situations, aiming to impart a greater comprehension of organization's effectiveness and smoothing the progress of our work in the future. Thanks for MBA!

This MBA programme is an exceptional possibility for me to deepen and expand knowledge in the field of international business management, to meet new opportunities for the future career, as well as to learn from the professional experience of distinguished professors from GGSB and European consultants.

The practical knowledge obtained during MBA course can be ranked as of very high value, as it permits to combine theory with business world reality. I think all MBA graduates will successfully implement the substantial body of knowledge accumulated in the framework of the "European MBA" programme.

Regular MBA
Class 2001-2002

Studying in this program is a real challenge. First of all, we must keep up with the professors' expectations, comparing our results with the achievements of the previous promotion. Secondly, a spirit of competition exists between Regular and Executive groups of students. Indeed, the European MBA is not a place where you go to have a rest.

The education process is different to what I was used to, so it was quite shocking from the very beginning. Such a demanding environment very efficiently teaches how to manage your time. Now I am convinced that I am prepared to work under time pressure.

I found the MBA programme very useful in terms of professional and personal development. It has extended my horizons and has trained me to think globally. I consider my studies to be a valuable investment in myself, providing a good boost for my further career.

It is a unique opportunity for me to have a World Class Education, here in Moldova. It is more precious due to professors, who knows both local and oversees business situation. Thus they will know to compare and to benchmark our economy with those of developed countries and to share this knowledge with MBA students.

Acquaintance with modern managerial instruments, added to my knowledge and experience of local, specific problems, creates a synergetic effect.

Studying at the Grenoble MBA Program, is a precious experience, and I hope through my success I will contribute to the success, growth and development of MBA program, and my future company as well.

I am proud to have been chosen for the MBA program sponsored by Tacis and GGSB. My original expectations were very high, and I am happy to say that these expectations have been greatly exceeded on a daily basis. The visiting professors from Grenoble have vast years of experience which they pass on to us with such dedicated enthusiasm and professionalism. The critical knowledge I have received from this most unique educational opportunity will provide me with the tools I will need for my future career.

It is my greatest hope that the relationships which have been planted in this first program will continue to grow over the coming years. Grass roots educational programs such as this one are exactly what are needed here in Moldova to provide the skills necessary to survive in these economically trying times.

The decision to come to the Tacis MBA program was for me either easy or simple. Being an executive director of a computer selling company, I found out about this program and decided to apply for it. I thought that it would add a strong economic background to my technical education.

The result was better than I expected. The program structure and the professors are very well combined in order to improve managerial skills to the students. It certainly changed the person who came to the program. I began to think deeper, to develop analytic skills and to gain a lot of practical skills.

I intend to apply the knowledge and experience I have received in my future career. I'm sure that this program is the best choice for the persons who are looking for a career in management and entrepreneurship.

Perhaps, my vision of the European MBA programme differs slightly from the rest, as I am a foreign student from St. Petersburg. The experience of studying and living in Chisinau is as double difficult for me as it is double rewarding. The word that best reflects my feelings is 'NEW'. First of all, living in a foreign country is a real trial of a person's maturity and independence. It's always in my mind: how to establish a new daily routine, succeed in studies, make new friends and turn my life into interesting and eventful one. Then, my background is far from being linked with economy. I graduated from the Philological department of St. Petersburg University and was planning my future career as interpreter and teacher. And then suddenly this MBA programme gripped my attention "Why not try?" Willingness to learn has always been one of my fortes. I strongly believe it's one of the crucial factors for my success in life. And as a bottom line, all I can say is: 'I am a brand-new girl now'
